After purchasing a gas boiler, everyone immediately faces the installation process of the boiler, which is also an important step. Firstly, it should be clarified that most boilers with pressure belong to pressure vessels, and safety must be given top priority. Therefore, it is necessary to choose a qualified and professional boiler installation unit.

The installation of gas boilers mainly includes two parts: inside and outside the boiler room.

1、 Installation in boiler room

The installation in the gas boiler room mainly includes the connection and installation of the instrument valves of the gas boiler body, boiler water supply and drainage pipelines, flues, steam pipelines, etc.

After the gas boiler body is in place, installation can begin. The specific installation process is as follows:

1. Valve installation

Before installing the valves of the gas boiler, a visual inspection should be conducted, and strength and tightness tests should be carried out one by one. Qualified valves should have their internal water drained and coated with rust proof oil;

2. Pipeline installation

The installation of gas boiler pipelines should be subject to quality inspection of the pipes, fittings, and flanges used according to requirements. They should be registered as legitimate manufacturers of pressure pipelines, fittings, and flanges by the technical supervision department, and must have corresponding material lists, certificates of conformity. Pipes, fittings, and flanges without material lists and certificates of conformity are not allowed to be used.

The welding of gas boiler pipelines should also meet the process requirements, as follows:

① Before welding, operators of natural gas boilers must undergo technical training from relevant departments, pass the assessment, and obtain a skill operation certificate before they can work. Welding without a certificate is strictly prohibited.

② Gas boiler welding operators who have been absent from work continuously for six months should receive technical training again and pass the assessment before returning to work. Welding operators of natural gas boilers should master the performance of the welding equipment used, be familiar with boiler product drawings, process documents, and standard requirements.

③ Welding operators should carefully manage the welding site, and tools should be operated correctly and stored properly. Welders should follow the welding process instructions or welding process cards for welding, and low stress welder code stamps should be stamped near the weld seam.

④ The groove of the pipe joint should comply with the drawing requirements, and the groove within 10mm should be polished clean. When aligning, it should be clamped with a fixture, leaving a gap for spot welding and fixing. Check the quality of the alignment for accuracy, and then proceed with welding.

⑤ During the welding of gas boilers, arc initiation should not be carried out on the pipes at the weld joint, and the arc joint should be filled when extinguishing the arc.

⑥ All welded parts on the pipe should be fully welded before the hydrostatic test.

Users are not allowed to install natural gas boilers without authorization, especially pressure vessels for gas steam boilers and gas pressurized hot water boilers. Prior to installation, approval must be obtained from the quality supervision department, and the entire installation process must be completed under the supervision of the quality supervision department.

2、 Installation outside the gas boiler room
